The wellness industry, that which encompasses bodywork, naturopathic, and energetic medicine, is having an unprecedented renaissance. For the last century such healing modalities have been marginalized in favor of the allopathic and pharmaceutical model. As a result of this marginalization, trust in these practices has waned and the wellness industry as a whole has been the victim of charlatanism, both real and fabricated.
As we begin to navigate a post Covid-19 world, interest in holistic wellness is at an all time high while trustworthy access to alternative healing practices remains opaque. The mission of the Brio Center is to provide access to these modalities with integrity and transparency by bringing highly vetted practitioners under one roof to heal, grow and thrive together. By offering an affordable and flexible office model within the context of a dynamic and thriving building we aim to attract veritable healers across a broad range of lineages. Simultaneously, by curating an inspiring atmosphere and a compelling physical environment we strive to create a safe and inviting space for newcomers.
In addition to the core office suites the building itself will serve as a landmark for applied holistic living in both architecture and function. Lecture halls will cater to educational forums and seminars, while studios will be available for a variety of movement classes. Multiple dining options, from cafe to rooftop tonic bar, will be open to the public while concurrently providing the facilities and context to delve into different nutritional philosophies. The intention is for all areas of The Brio Center to be both functional and educational, providing classroom to explore everything from urban gardening and herbalism to natural dyeing to ecstatic dance, remaining committed to curiosity and a non-denominational approach to wellness.
